Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a passion for developing infrastructure and a commitment to leading dynamic projects.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Design and manage a diverse range of civil engineering projects, both small-scale and large-scale. Projects will primarily include roads, sewage systems, water supply, and drainage systems.
- Lead design teams as the Project Team Leader, ensuring the successful completion of project design and supervision deliverables.
- Develop and implement project execution strategies for assigned projects, aligning with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Utilize your technical expertise to conduct feasibility analyses for project specifications, ensuring that all stakeholder requirements are met and exceeded.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil design
- Proven experience in civil design, specifically in roads and drainage systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Jamaica or other jurisdiction
- Proficiency in civil engineering design tools such as EPANET, Civil 3D, and HEC-HMS.
