Grace Kennedy Logistics & Distribution Centre Expansion – Phase 2

The project scope involved the expansion of the capacity of the existing warehouse located in St. Catherine, Jamaica. The expansion is a 92,000ft2 portal frame structure laid out to form a continuous expansion to the western side of the existing warehouse. The scope of works included the installation of reinforced concrete walls and floor slab, structural frames, steel sheeting with insulation, roof and external drainage system, surveillance system, wireless infrastructure for merchandise pick system, fire detection and suppression system, ventilation system and the installation of 13,000 pallet positions of adjustable pallet racking.
